PURPOSE:To generate stable pulses efficiently from the beginning, by preparing a separate power supply for a pulse generator using the resonance charging system and starting the generator after preparatory charging. CONSTITUTION:An output voltage of a main charging power supply 11 is divided at resistance voltage dividers 12, 13, the divided output voltage is inputted to an error amplifier 14 differentially with a reference voltage Es and a difference DELTAV1 is controlled at all times so as to be made zero. Further, the output voltage of an auxiliary charging power supply 16 is divided at resistance voltage dividers 17, 18, the voltage is inputted to an error amplifier 19 differentially with the reference voltage Es so as to make the difference DELTAV2 zero. A main discharge capacitor 21 is charged preparatorily via a charging resistor 20 from the power supply 16. In starting this device, the reference voltage Es is adjusted with the power supply 15, the output voltage of the power supply 16 is boosted to a voltage Vc required for the repetitive discharge and the charging is completed. In this case, an output voltage E1 of the power supply 11 is a voltage determined with Equation, where eta1, eta2 in Figure are the inverting rate determined with the charge/discharge circuit. |
