PURPOSE:To cut infusible metallic wires in a short time, in large quantities, at high accuracy and at low cost, by fitting and fixing plural infusible metallic wires in a metallic pipe, cutting the metallic wires together with the pipe and removing the pipe by dissolving. CONSTITUTION:A composite material 3 is formed by inserting plural infusible metallic wires 2 such as tungsten wires, molybdenum wires, etc. into a metallic pipe of different kind of metal such as aluminium, etc. It is desirable to make the shape after fitting hexagon to make the fitting most effective. Then, the composite material 3 is rolled by rolling dies and the wires are fixed and combined in the pipe 1. Under this condition, the composite material 3 is cut to specified length by an abrasive cutting wheel etc., and the pipe 1 of aluminium, etc. is dissolved in caustic soda solution, washed with water and dried. Thus, plural metallic wires cut to specified length are obtained. |
