PURPOSE:To eject a cassette easily in a short time, by allowing a head base to move from a play and a pause position PLAY and PAUSE, etc., to a stop position STOP automatically in the shortest distance only through cassette ejecting operation. CONSTITUTION:By the ON signal of a switch PLAY, a microcomputer 12 sends a signal to a forward/backward driving circuit 24 so that a motor 1 rotates up to the position PLAY. Through the rotation, a photoreflector 18 receives light from a reflecting plate 17 to an input signal for detecting positions FF/REW and PAUSE successively to the microcomputer 12 through a Schmitt circuit 15 and when a PLAY position detection signal is inputted to the microcomputer 12, the microcomputer 12 sends out a stop signal to said driving circuit 24, so the motor 1 stops to hold the head base at the position PLAY. When an EJECT switch 13a is turned on, the microcomputer 12 confirms the current position of the head base and outputs a signal to move the head base 7 to the stop position STOP in the shortest distance. |
