PURPOSE:To enable multicolor printing with high printing quality by an apparatus with a simple structure, by moving a type drum equipped with plural type strips to an axial direction in response to the changing-over of type color to correspond one type strip to a printing means. CONSTITUTION:Type belts 3, 4 are mounted onto the outer peripheral surface of a type drum 2 and ink rollers 5, 6 supplying inks with different colors to a type part in contacted relation to the type belts 3, 4 are provided in the vicinity of the type drum 2 while the ink roller 5, 6 are rotated around the shafts thereof as the rotation of the type drum 2. A type color changing-over lever 15 is operated to move the type drum 2 to an axial direction shown by an arrow B and either one of the type belts 3, 4 is corresponded to a hammer to carry out multicolor printing. |
