PURPOSE:To obtain a rapid-drying recorded image having high resolution and clear color, by printing a recording base containing an acid amide-type surface active agent having an amide bond in the molecule in the surface layer, with a water-based ink containing one or more water-soluble coating materials such as water-soluble direct dye, etc. CONSTITUTION:At least a surface of a recording base is coated with an aqueous solution of an acid amide-type surface active agent having amide bond in the molecule (e.g. lauryl sarcosine). A record is applied to the base by printing the base with a water-based ink containing one or more dyes selected from a water-soluble direct dye (e.g. C.I. Direct Black) and a water-soluble acidic dye (e.g. C.I. Acid Black). |
