<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an ROM whose function test is automated completely by providing an area wherein a discrimination code for deciding the kind of a written ROM is written. CONSTITUTION:In a figure, 19 is an ROM discrimination program, by which a central processing unit 14 is controlled to read the discrimination code of an ROM12' to be tested; and a decision on this discrimination code is made by the ROM discrimination program 19 and a test program corresponding to the ROM 12' to be tested is selected among ROM test programs 131, 132, 133.... Then, the selected ROM test program is read out of the central processing unit 14 successively to test the functions of said ROM12'. Thus, a successive test of various kinds of ROMs is taken automatically to automate the function test completely.</p> |
