PURPOSE:To obtain a final processing soln. for use in a silver halide photosensitive material prevented from unevenness due to water droplets even in the case of high temp. short time drying, and reduced in stains on the surface of a support, by adding a specified siloxane compd. CONSTITUTION:A final processing soln. for use in a silver halide photosensitive material contains a siloxane compd. embodied as formulae II and III, and having general formulaIin which R1 is -OH or a group of formula II, R4, R5, R6 are each 1-8C alkyl or alkenyl or aryl, 1-4C alkylene; R2 is 1-8C alkyl, alkenyl, or aryl, a group of formula II; R3 is 1-4C alkylene; (a) is 1, 2, or 3; (m) is 1-20; and (n) is 0-10 and m>n. A preferable amt. of said siloxane added depends upon a kind of photosensitive material, treatment temp., pH regulator concn., image stabilizer concn., fluorescent whitening agent concn. or the like additive concn., but in general, it is 0.01-30g/ liter of processing soln. |
