PURPOSE:To shorten the positioning time of a head and to improve operability, by driving a motor at a high voltage up to right before a target position of the head and driving the motor at a low voltage thereafter, and thus braking the motor excellently. CONSTITUTION:The output of an output line 27 is at L and a transistor (TR)26 is off, so the motor 1 rotates a fast at a 11.3V high voltage. The output of a photoreflector 18 is applied to a control circuit 12 through a Schmitt circuit 15 and counted. Consequently, the control circuit 12 detects the head arriving at a pause position PAUSE and holds the output of the output line 27 at H. Consequently, the TR26 turns on, the output of a constant voltage circuit 24 drops to 7V, and the motor 7 rotates while having inertia reduced by low-voltage drive. The moment the head passes by the position PAUSE, the output of the photoreflector 18 is at H and when it arrives at a play position PLAY, the output goes down to L. At this time, the output of output lines 21 and 22 are both at H, so the feeding to the motor 1 is stopped through a driving circuit 20.
|
