PURPOSE:To enhance the resistance to wear, seizing and thermal impact by pressing an Fe-base substrate sprayed with Cu powder contg. W, Mo, WC, VC, Mo2C, TiC, SiC or the like by applying a hot hydrostatic pressure at a prescribed temp. CONSTITUTION:Cu or Cu alloy powder is mixed with >=1 kind of powdered component selected from a high m.p. metal such as W or Mo, a carbide such as WC, VC, Mo2C, TiC or SiC, a nitride such as Si3N4, an oxide such as Al2O3, and a Co or Ni alloy with superhigh heat resistance. The powdered mixture is sprayed on an Fe-base substrate, and the substrate is pressed at 800-1,250 deg.C with a hot hydrostatic pressing apparatus to adhere the coating layer to the substrate. |
