PURPOSE:To obtain an amorphous alloy having a small iron loss even in a high frequency region and superior thermal stability and causing no increase in the iron loss even after resin molding, by substituting a prescribed amount of Nb for part of Fe in an amorphous Fe alloy and by restricting the Fe content. CONSTITUTION:This amorphous alloy is represented by formulaI(where X is B or B and Si, the amount of Si is <=10 atomic%, 0.02<=a<=0.075 and 12<=b<=15). A specified amount of one or more among V, Cr, Mo, Ta and W may be contained in the alloy while satisfying formula II (where M is said metal, 0.01<=c <=0.065, 0.01<=d<=0.05, 0.02<=c+d<=0.075 and 12<=e<15). Nb contributes to the reduction of the iron loss in a high frequency region and the incease of the crystallization temp. |
