PURPOSE:To surely prevent an accident, by utilizing a television camera to detect a worker entering a hazardous area within a fence and operating a safety device having a function of stopping or the like of machines within the fence at the detection. CONSTITUTION:During operation of machines 1... within a fence, the state in a stop is photographed by a television camera 4 set to the ceiling or the like, and its picture signal is fed to a processor 5. Here the picture signal, after conversion by an A/D converter 8, is input and stored to a memory circuit 9 of a detector unit 6 while compared with the picture signal before one scanning stored to the circuit 9 by a comparator 10. Here if a worker goes into the inside of a fence 2 because of a trouble in the machine 1, a signal ''1'' is generated from a hazard area memory 16 which an output Q of the comparator 10 becomes ''1'', and an output of a decision device 7 becomes ''1''. As a result, a safety device 17 is operated, and a switch 18 is opened by a breaker 20 to forcibly stop the machines 1.... |
