The device is intended for administering successive doses of e.g. insulin using the same injection needle (1) which is left in situ. The needle communicates with a number of orifices (2) each connected with a separate chamber containing the injection liquid. Each pre-filled chamber is spherical in shape and at least the chamber wall opposite the orifice is in a flexible material and is faced by the convex hemi-spherical lower end of a plunger (6). The radius of this lower end is slightly shorter than that of the chamber and the plunger is locked in its initial rest position (7,8) and in its fully depressed position (7,9). Administering successive doses of medication by injection via needle which remains in situ for a period of time. The device minimises the number of needle insertions and provides the opportunity of reaching a more constant concentration level of medication in the patient's body without the need for a metering pump.
