PURPOSE:To fix each sheet positively, and to improve the electrical insulating characteristics of the end section of a metallic sheet by bonding both end sections of an insulating sheet by a band-shaped semirigid insulator. CONSTITUTION:A metal sheet 2 and an insulating sheet 3 are wound completely on a take-up insulating cylinder 16 together with band-shaped semirigid insulat ing sheets 17, the band-shaped semirigid insulating sheets 17 are cured perfectly through a drying process by heating, and adjacent each end section of the insulat ing sheet 3 is fastened. The upper and lower both end sections of the insulating sheet 3 are fixed by bonding by the band-shaped semirigid insulating sheets 17 in a low-voltage winding, a foil-wound winding, manufactured in this manner, thus mutually fastening the insulating sheet 3 positively at every winding turn while also holding the metal sheet in respective winding turn by the insulating sheet 3, fast sticking the metal sheet and firmly fixing it.
