<p>A process for reconstituting slate is described in which the slate is ground so as to produce seven portions each with a different grain size. The ground slate is then mixed with a settable synthetic resin e.g. a methacrylic resin and stirred for up to 20 minutes before being poured into a mould which is vibrated during the setting of the reconstituted slate with the resin.</p> |
