PURPOSE:To simplify the exchange of peripheral devices, by providing the titled device with a connection part to connect an interface part which is common to all terminal devices, individual connection parts and a switching part. CONSTITUTION:The peripheral controlling device 1 is provided with a control part to control the operation of a peripheral device 6 by a command from a higher device connected to the device 1, the common connection part 3 arranged between the control part 2 and the peripheral device 6 to connect the peripheral device 6 and the control part 2, and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd individual connection parts 4a-4c. The switching part 5 switches the individual connection parts 4a- 4c to make only the operation of any one of these connection parts 4a-4c effective in accordance with the kind of the connected peripheral device 6. |
