PURPOSE:To provide a reciprocating driving device which is of compact size and capable of changing the feed speed by bringing a pair of rollers capable of changing a contact angle into pressure contact with the outer periphery of a rotary driving shaft disposed along the feed direction, and turning these rollers through a group of bevel gears. CONSTITUTION:When a cam 21 is moved to push up a roller 20, a lever 18 is rotated in a fixed degree arc, and one bevel gear 9 is rotated through a shaft 17. Whereupon, a set of four bevel gears 8, 9 are simultaneously rotated in a fixed degree arc, and rollers 12, 13 are inclined at a fixed angle in the opposite direction to each other relative to a driving shaft 3 through a gear shaft 10 and a pin 11. When in such a condition, the driving shaft 3 is rotated, the rollers 12, 13 are rotated to be moved in one direction of the driving shaft 13, which results in that a unit case 4 is guided by a guide shaft 2 and the driving shaft 3 to be moved in the same direction. When a lever 18 is rotated in a fixed degree arc in the direction opposite to the above direction, the unit case 4 is moved in the direction opposite to the above direction. |
