The invention has the object of providing a mobile support with a minimum degree of expenditure, with which the jib crane is upgraded and its useful properties improved. The object of the invention consists in avoiding the manufacture of special, mobile support elements and using the transport vehicles which already have to be present to transfer the jib crane under certain conditions. According to the invention, the object is achieved in that the transport vehicles used for rail transport are used during the operation of the crane as carrying and travel elements. These support vehicles have devices for absorbing the vertical and horizontal forces in order to compensate track spacing differences and to compensate unevennesses in the plane of the track. In order to favourably apply the support forces, the support points are arranged over the bogie pivots of the pivoted bogies.
