PURPOSE:To detect a moving direction, by detecting a magnetic flux variation of a notch part of a moving body such as a rotating body, by plural parts, operating a D-type FF by its output, and outputting an electric signal corresponding to the moving direction. CONSTITUTION:In case when a notch 4 provided on a fly-wheel 3 is opposed to Hall elements 5, 6, a magnetic flux interlinked to the Hall elements 5, 6 from a permanent magnet 9 decreases, and in case when it is not opposed, said magnetic flux increases. A circumferential angle of the notch 4 is theta, and a circumferential angle of the Hall elements 5, 6 is theta/2. Output parts of the Hall elements 5, 6 are connected to input parts of voltage comparators 7, 8, and output parts of the comparators 7, 8 are connected to a data terminal 12 and a clock terminal 13 of a D-type FF 11 respectively. To an output terminal 14 of the D-type FF 11, H is outputted in case when a rotary shaft 2 and the fly-wheel 3 rotate clockwise, seeing from the motor side, and L is outputted in case when they rotate counterclockwise, by which a rotating direction of a rotating body can be detected. |
