PURPOSE:To contrive the cost reduction for painting facilities by a method wherein a surface processed steel sheet is used to prepare an outer case for heat generating electromagnetic apparatus, which is dip-coated with resin of water soluble melamin alkid series, before being heated and dried. CONSTITUTION:An outer case made of a surface processed steel sheet is dip- coated with resin of water soluble melamin alkid series. The water soluble resin consists of a volatile component and a diluent is mostly composed of water, thus the case is free from the danger of fire, while the dip-coating will not pollute the surroundings. For this reason, only dipping tank and drying furnace are sufficient and this reduces the cost for coating facilities. |
