PURPOSE:To obtain a thin transformer without beat and leakage magnetic flux by a method wherein opposing grooves are made in the opposing surfaces of two frame cores and the ends of the square core are engaged with the grooves, a coil being wound on the square cores. CONSTITUTION:Grooves 10, 11 are made in opposing surfaces of frame cores 8, 9 on which silicon steel plates have been wound. A coil bobbin 14 is mounted on a square core 12 built of silicon steel plates and the required coil 15 is wound thereon and then the core 12 is inserted therein, thereby the contact surfaces are combined by welding several points together on the surfaces. The combination thus constructed provides an extra area (dXe) over the whole periphery of the square cores 8, 9, reducing the leakage magnetic flux and beat. A thin transformer with stabilized characteristics can thus be obtained. |
