Process for the bleaching of textiles using hydrogen peroxide by impregnation with a bleaching liquor containing hydrogen peroxide, then squeezing off to a liquor pick-up of 80-150%, soaking in a storage tank which may be divided into individual chambers and whose contents of material to be bleached are present in a ratio of 1:10 to 1:30 relative to the bleaching liquor, at 60-90 DEG C for 10-40 minutes, and after a subsequent squeezing off to a liquor pick-up of 80-150% and, if desired, a steaming time of 1-4 minutes at around 100 DEG C, rinsing and drying, wherein the hydrogen peroxide content is four to six times, the alkali content two to four times, the textile auxiliaries content one to three times higher in the storage tank than in the bleaching liquor. |
