The share (1) of the snowplough is equipped at its lower end with a fender (2) which is held in its working position by a torsion spring (5). When the fender strikes an obstacle, it can pivot rearwards about the axle (3). So that it does not need to raise the plough during this pivoting movement, it is held together with the restoring spring of a rocker (4) which allows the fender to raise during its pivoting movement. The gap (S) remaining as a result of this constructive arrangement between the lower edge of the ploughshare (1) and the top side of the fender (2) is bridged by a rubber element (12). The rubber element (12) serves at the same time as a restoring spring for the rocker (4). Instead, a separate restoring spring can also be attached. <IMAGE>
