For securing buried, no longer required liquid-fuel and motor-fuel lines, storage tanks and the like, in particular in the case of a filling station to be shut down, by completely filling with a material which is liquefied, hardens after filling and is flame retardant in the hardened state, it is proposed to use as filling material a plastic composition, in particular based on toughened polyurethane, mixed with a non-combustible gaseous blowing agent, preferably nitrogen.
