PURPOSE:To pass a washing soln. through a wet type filter by a just necessary amt., in order to prevent deterioration of an analyzer and lowering of accuracy, by using a common drive power source for both of a pump for feeding the washing soln. to said filter provided in a combustion gas purifying system, and a water sample feeder. CONSTITUTION:In a combustion analyzer of total org. carbon, etc. in a water sample 1, the water sample 1 is cleared of inorganic carbon contaminant with an inorganic carbon remover 2, and sent from a sample feed pump 5 to a combustion tube 6. This pump 5 is of a continuous type, and driven with a common drive source 42 also for driving a pump for feeding a washing soln. from its tank 11 to a wet type filter 10 installed after a combustion gas cooler 8 and a trap 9. An amt. of washing soln. is controlled in 1.5-0.03% of a feed rate of a combustion-aiding gas in order to prevent flooding of packings in the filter 10 or drying till a state of loosing washing ability, and therefore, deterioration of an electronic cooler 13 and an infrared analyzer attacked by corrosive gases. |
