The present invention relates to a roller conveyor for a continuous press operating by the double-belt principle as a flat press, which roller conveyor consists of individual loosely guided roller carriages. The roller carriages consist in turn of one or more rollers which are arranged one after the other, guided in a groove by means of a lug and held at a distance. The roller conveyor is arranged between a stationary press table and endless, circulating plate chains, the plate chain acting on endless, circulating steel belts. The material to be pressed is located between the upper and lower belt strand of the endless steel belts.
