Saddle for two-wheeled vehicles or the like, having an upholstered element which is arranged about a carrier element, has a seating surface and bounds a downwardly open cavity on the side opposite the seating surface. In the case of two-wheeled vehicles, objects which are to be carried along, such as for example a tool, puncture repair kit or the like, are accommodated in a bag attached to the frame or to the saddle. The bags which are to be attached during the assembly of a two-wheeled vehicle not only make the two-wheeled vehicle more expensive to manufacture but also have a disadvantageous effect on the appearance as a whole and incite thieves to steal the objects stored therein since usually the bag is not locked. The cavity which is present on the underside of every saddle is closed off according to the invention by means of a preform which is attached to the upholstered element or to the carrier element of the saddle. As a result, a chamber for holding tools, puncture repair kits and the like is easily formed. So that this chamber can be opened or closed without the aid of a tool, the preform is fixed to the upholstered element or to the carrier element of the saddle by means of a releasable connection, for example by means of a catch device. <IMAGE>
