Moulded motor vehicle interior trim panel and production process

In order to provide a dimensionally stable and simple-to-produce motor vehicle headliner, a glass fibre mat foamed through with rigid polyurethane foam and compressed is provided. Bonded to this is a cushioning flexible polyurethane foam layer, bearing a covering layer. For this, the said layer is foamed in with flexible polyurethane foam.
