In order to be able to make a bicycle trailer for the transportation of persons smaller when not in use, so that it can be accommodated more easily, a dismantleable frame design is realised with a taut fabric covering as seat and backrest. The footplate (1) can be removed after two screws (11, 11') are undone. The towbar (4) can be taken off after two bolts (12, 12') are removed. The side tubes of the backrest (7) can be pulled out of their guides and stored in the folded seat surface after the outer frame tubes (2, 2') are pushed together. The two outer frame tubes can be inserted into the eyelets (5, 5') of the towbar in such a way that the individual parts joined in this way can be easily transported. The footplate (1) is stored separately. When the bicycle trailer is assembled, the footplate can be attached at varying heights as needed.
