<p>PURPOSE:To separate away Sb selectively by settling with simple operations by adding Te, Te compds. and oxidizing agents under heating to acidic solns. of sulfuric acids contg. Sb in electrolytic refining of copper. CONSTITUTION:One kind of the group consisting of Te alone and Te compds. as well as oxidizing agnets are allowed to coexist in acidic solns. of sulfuric acids contg. Sb under heating to 50-90 deg.C. The Te compds. are copper tellurate, zinc tellurate, etc., and the oxidizing agents are H2O2, gaseous O2, air, etc. Since the precipitate contg. Sb is thus formed, the Sb is removed selectively from the solns. by separating the precipitate.</p> |
