The invention provides a drive device for a sliding door, which has a drive motor, arranged on the door, for moving the door guided on a running rail via rollers. To design the drive device so that it is easily mountable and such that the door is easily moveable when the drive device is not in operation, the drive motor is mounted adjustably and can be shifted out of a position of rest into a working position by an actuating element controllable by the user. In the working position, a driving roller arranged on the motor shaft engages on the running rail. |
