<p>Industrial sewing machine used to sew seams in and embroider bedding. A frame moved by a longitudinal feeder is provided movably along guide means provided on a base. The frame is provided with an arm of a sewing machine body having a head, and a shuttle. A base provided separately from the arm is supported and guided by a pair of horizontal upper and lower guide members provided on the frame and arranged vertically, is mounted so as to be laterally movable in mutual synchronization with the arm by a lateral feeder along the guide members. A supporting base for supporting a cloth being sewn between the arm and the base of the sewing machine body passes between the guide members. This sewing machine has head driving means including a head drive motor provided in the arm, and driving means including a drive motor provided in the base, thereby removing the influence of the driving of the sewing machine body even if it is moved laterally.</p> |
