PURPOSE:To apply the same edit processing to the display information of respective coupled elements such as patterns, compositions and pictures by adding information indicating coupling to the display information of these elements. CONSTITUTION:A grouped command input part 10 is specified with a pen 2, and while observing a display device 8, a carsor is moved to a place sufficiently close to a reference pattern to be grouped by pointing out a pattern position input board 3 with an indicating pen 2. A pattern detecting part 11 retrieves the past position codes and point position coordinates stored in a storage part 6 and detects a reference position sufficiently close to the position of the indicating carsor. A grouped mark part 12 puts a mark indicating that the pattern code is an object to be grouped. Subsequently the carsor is moved to another reference pattern and specified and a mark indicating the same group is written to group patterns. |
