PURPOSE:To obtain a thin transformer whose direction of distributed leakage magnetic flux can be adjusted, with a small amount of the leakage magnetic flux by a method wherein two frame cores, each being different in thickness, are coupled to a square core. CONSTITUTION:A ferrite square core 10 equipped with a coil 12 is arranged in the position where ferrite frame cores 8, 9 different in thickness a, b are divided into two. A square electromagnetic steel plate 13 is arranged on the periphery thereof and welded to the frame cores 8, 9 to fix them and installed to external equipment with a portion 14. An extra area to the extent of 2(b-a)X height is produced in the core 9 and the magnetic flux density is reduced. Consequently the quantity of the leakage magnetic flux is reduced (solid line) and, because beat and heat generation are small, the size can be made compact. |
