PURPOSE:To increase a supporting amount of a pad, by foldably molding front elements successively provided to a fixed element of a pad spring, which supports a pair of the brake pads to a torque member, continuously to side elements positioned to a side face of the torque member. CONSTITUTION:A disc brake is equipped with a torque member 1 having two arm parts 2, caliper 4 fixed to a slide pin 5 slidably inserted into said part 2, and a pair of brake pads 7 arranged to the inside of an arm part 4b of this caliper 4. This pad 7 is slidably supported to the member 1 by a pad spring 19. Then the spring 19 is constituted by a fixed element 20, pressing elements 21 and front elements 27, here the elements 27 are formed by folding continuously to side elements 28 positioned to the side face of a brake pad supporting face 8 and the pad 7 of the member 1. |
