PURPOSE:To increase pressing force of pressing elements even with small size, by improving a shape of connecting elements connecting a fixed element and the pressing elements of a pad spring which supports a pair of brake pads to a torque member. CONSTITUTION:A disc brake is equipped with a torque member 1 having two arm parts 2, caliper 4 fixed to a slide pin 5 slidably inserted into said arm part 2, and a pair of brake pads 7 arranged to the inside of an arm part 4b of the caliper 4. This pad 7 is slidably supported to the member 1 by a pad spring 19. Then the spring 19 is constituted by a fixed element 20, pressing elements 21 and connecting elements 22, here the elements 22 are formed by curving 180 deg. toward the slide direction of the pad 7 externally in the radial direction of a disc and can stop movement of the pad 7 to the outside in the radial direction. |
