<p>PURPOSE:To improve the growth of aquatic animals such as saltwater fish, freshwater fish, etc., by adding a specific amount of clay to a conventional feed for the aquatic animal. CONSTITUTION:The feed for an aquatic animal, such as saltwater fish, freshwater, fish, snapping turtle, etc., e.g. colored carp, is incorporated with 10- 20% clay as a component. The growth of a colored carp can be improved by feeding the fish with the feed obtained by adding newly excavated clay to conventional feed such as fish meal, mixture of chrysalis powder and wheat fluor, etc. It is supposed that the improvement in the growth is caused by the promotion of the growth by the minerals in the clay, the prevention of the disintegration of the feed by the clay, and the acceleration of digestion, etc.</p> |
