PURPOSE:To prevent a stylus tip from being manufactured by shifting from the center line, by polishing a reproducing stylus for a video disk, by a polishing groove having two large and small groove widths. CONSTITUTION:On an intermediate polishing disk 6, a polishing groove 7 having W1 groove width and a polishing groove 10 of having W2 groove width are provided on the same disk. Polishing is executed by making a stylus to be polished 8A contact with one side wall of the polishing groove 7, and also by making a stylus to be polished 8C provided with a guide plane 9 run along one side wall of the polishing groove 10. Therefore, a stylus tip 11 is formed at an almost central position 12 of a reproducing stylus 8D, and a position shift of the stylus tip can be prevented. |
