<p>A sampler for a pipeline, for example, an oil pipeline which "grabs" a sample of fluid passing along the pipeline. The sampler includes a probe extending into the pipeline which has a chamber (18) through which fluid in the pipeline passes from an inlet (21) to an outlet (22). A tube (23) extends upstream from the inlet to try to ensure that fluid is collected from an undisturbed part of the flow of fluid through the pipeline.</p> |
