PURPOSE:To replenish a toner uniformly to a developing roll, by contg. many beads in a developing device, dispersing and sticking developers on the beads and supplying only the developer to the developing roll. CONSTITUTION:Toners 18 for replenishing of two component developers and many beads 19 of small sizes which are non-magnetic mateials such as glass are mixed and contained in a developer vessel (b). The beads are formed to about 0.5-2mm. diameters. A developing drum 12 is rotated by 90 deg. each at every one time of development, and the toners 18 having poor fluidity are thoroughly agitated by the beads 19 during said rotation, whereby the fluidity is considerably improved. The toners 18 stuck on the beads 19 in the position shown in the figure stick on the magnetic brush of a developing roll 14, and only the toners 18 are stuck on the roll 14. The toners 18 are thus replenished uniformly in the axial direction of the roll 14, and the satisfactory development is accomplished. |
