PURPOSE:To enable to prevent the stress in heat pipes from generating by a structure wherein U-bend parts of the heat pipes are staggeredly arranged and a supporting plate is inserted between the rows of the staggered arrangement and the heat pipes are pinched by the supporting plate and two keep plates applied at both sides of the arrangement and at the same time either one of the two keep plates is coupled to the cooler main body. CONSTITUTION:At the side, where distributing pipes and concentrated pipes are arranged in the U-bent parts 11a of a plurality of the heat pipes, while their vertical parts 11b are arranged in two row zigzags in the horizontal plane and the supporting plate 19 is inserted between the rows and bound together with the keep plates 20 applied at both sides of the arrangement so as to pinch the vertical parts 11b by means of bolts 22 and nuts 23. In addition, one of the keep plates 20 is coupled to the frame work of the cooler main body with a coupling member 24. Furthermore, the heat pipes 11 slidably pierce an inside wall 18 and further the sleeves 21 of the U-bend parts are also vertically slidable because the pinching force given by both the plates 19 and 20 is adjusted. Accordingly, the stress due to the thermal expansion and contraction of the heat pipes are prevented from generating and, at the same time, the displacement of the heat pipes due to earthquake or the like is checked, resulting in preventing excessive stress at the junctions. |
