<p>A method for bonding polyolefin articles one or both of which is made of crosslinked polyolefin at least in the surface layer, which method comprises disposing a cross-linkable polyolefin composition containing an organic peroxide between the surfaces of the articles to be bonded and heating the composition to cause crosslinking. This method makes it possible to bond crosslinked polyolefin articles which have been considered to be unweldable hitherto. This method can be applied for, for example, connecting crosslinked polyethylene pipes.</p> |
