PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity for quick traversing operation and rewinding operation of tapes and inverting operation of cassette at the time of music selection, by recording two pieces each, four pieces in total, of background music on the preceding and succeeding part of a no-signal section installed at the intermediate section of a tape in the direction of length. CONSTITUTION:The length of a recording track 3 of recording tracks 3-10 which are intalled in parallel with a prescribed width at the preceding and succeeding parts of a no-signal section 2 from a starting pint 3a at the no-signal section 2 side to the ending point 3b at the leader tape side, is set sufficiently to record a piece of brackground music. Starting points 4a-10a and ending points 4b-10b of the other recording tracks 4-10 are also set in the same manner. And, for example, the 1st background music is recorded on the recording tracks 3 and 4 from the starting points 3a and 4a to the ending points 3b and 4b, the 2nd music is recorded on the recording tracks 5 and 6 from the starting points 5a and 6a to the ending points 5b and 6b, and the 3rd background music is recorded on the recording tracks 7 and 8 from the starting points 7a and 8a to the ending points 7b and 8b. |
