<p>A molten metal sampler has a mold (10, 12) which forms a sampler with a disc (46) portion for a spectrographic analysis with a thinner skirt (48) for punching pellets for combustion analysis. The skirt (48) is positioned beneath the disc (46) to afford flotation of impurities into the disc (46) or a riser which communicates with the disc-forming recesses.</p> |
