PURPOSE:To enhance the heat collection efficiency and at the same time enable to add more collectors by a structure wherein an introductory main and a drainage main pipes are arranged vertically at both side parts of a collector respectively and connected with heat pipes therebetween and yet both the ends of the two mains are protruded beyond the side faces of the collector. CONSTITUTION:The introductory main 18 and the drainage main 19 are vertically arranged along both the side ends of the collector 12. Respective upper ends 18a and 19a are protruded from an upper side wall 12a in order to be connected to a hot water storage unit, while respective lower ends 18b and 19b are protruded from a lower side wall 12b in order to be used as the connecting parts of a subordinate collector to be added in future. A plurality of heat pipes 20 are horizontally mounted to both the mains 18 and 19 at fixed intervals with the acclivity of about 1.5 deg. toward the direction of the low therein and, after that, mounted integrally to an absorber plate 21. Owing to the structure as described above, branch pipes, which do not contribute to heat collection, can be eliminated. Furthermore, because both of the main pipes are arranged at the sides of the short sides, more heat pipes and absorber plates can be arranged within the restricted area of the collector, resulting in enhancing the heat collection efficiency. |
