PURPOSE:To mass-produce different form of self-support coils stably and uniformly, by winding a cylindrical coil with a winding machine for a circular coil, heat-treating the cylindrical coil with a pressing jig after being deformed to an elliptic coil and melting and curing the coil layers. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical coil 2 is formed with the winding jig of circular form. A heat curing resin is coated on a copper wire having an electric insuating film as the coil wire. The cylindrical coil 2 is deformed into the elliptic form with the pressing jig. The pressing jig is provided with pressing pieces 5, 6 having the pressing curved surface at each end of a pair of pipe stems 3, 4, combined capable of expansion and contraction in the telescopic form. The coil is heat-treated to incorporate the adjacent coil layers with the heat melting and curing resin and to form the elliptic self-support coils. Thus, the different form of self-support coils with high quality are mass-produced stably and uniformly. |
