<p>PURPOSE:To easily stop a tape at a correct location, by gradually reducing the speed of a DC motor from the time when the content of a pulse counter becomes a fixed value in front of data for program searching (at the time of quick traversing). CONSTITUTION:When a quick traversing condition is set, a control circuit 25 controls the 1st and 3rd comparators 22 and 24 under operation waiting conditions. When a coincidence pulse is obtained from the 1st comparator 22, the control circuit 25 starts theoperation of a pulse width modulator 27. Simultaneously with the operation start, a modulated wave output whose pulse width is gradually changed is obtained from the pulse width modulator 27 and a braking action is performed by gradually reducing the rotating speed of a motor 20. When a coincidence pulse is obtained from the 3rd comparator 24, the control circuit 25 completely stops the motor 20.</p> |
