PURPOSE:To improve such a characteristic that the temperature of an air-conditioned room is high in its lower part but low in its upper part, by providing a reheat and air mix type air conditioner with a main and an auxiliary cool air passages fitted with air mix doors and by providing the air conditioner with a main and an auxiliary warm air passages between which a heater by-pass door is fitted and by interlocking the doors with one another to control the ratio of mixture of cool and warm air. CONSTITUTION:An air mix door 8 for a main cool air passage 13, an air mix door 9 for an auxiliary cool air passage 14 and a heater by-pass door 17 between a main and an auxiliary warm air passages 15, 16 are interlocked with one another through linkages so that the flow rate of main cool air 13 is decreased, the flow rate of air through a heater core 7 is increased and the temperature 12 of air blown off toward a floor is heightened when the degree of opening of the air mix doors 8, 9 is heightened. At that time, the escape of warm air to the auxiliary warm air passage 16 is restricted by the heater by-pass door 17 so that the temperature of an air-conditioned room is kept appropriately high, and the flow rate of warm air to the auxiliary warm air passage 16 is limited to hold down the temperature 11 of air blown off from a vent, to keep the temperature of the air-conditioned room appropriately low. Such a characteristic that the temperature of the air-conditioned room is high in its lower part but low in its upper part is thus improved. |
