PURPOSE:To prevent the defects of a thin metallic sheet having high m.p. and to improve yield by covering both end faces of a metallic plate, which is produced by pressure molding, sintering and hot working of metallic powder having the high m.p., and rolling such metallic plate. CONSTITUTION:A molding, which is produced by pressure molding metallic powder having high m.p., is sintered and hot-rolled to form a metallic plate 10. Plating layers are formed on the end part 12 in the longitudinal direction of the plate 10, and both end faces 11, 14 in parallel with rolls 1. The plate 10 covered with the covering materials 11, 12, 14 in both end parts is conveyed between the rolls 1 plural times and is cold-rolled, whereby the generation of the fine cracks in the thin metallic sheet having the high m.p. is prevented. |
