PURPOSE:To execute uniform cooling by moving a masking plate disposed between the flange of an H beam and a cooling liquid spraying nozzle provided alongside the flange in accordance with the information on the temp. distribution in the transverse direction of the flange, etc. CONSTITUTION:The temp. distribution in the transverse direction of the flange 10 of the H beam 12 is measured by the 1st thermometer 28a and the masking plate 18 is moved by a power cylinder 22 in accordance therewith the execute cooling of the flange 10. The cooling of the flange part 10 is executed in the 2nd cooling zone 24b and the 3rd cooling zone 24c as well similarly to the 1st cooling zone 24a. Only the flange part is efficiently cooling by the above- mentioned method. |
