PURPOSE:To uniform the level of a reception signal at station side, by detecting a pilot signal from the station side at a reception circuit of a subscriber for equalization of the reception signal, and equalizing the line characteristics to a transmission signal from a subscriber side in advance. CONSTITUTION:An automatic equalizer 8 for the equalization of the reception signal, an automatic pre-equalizer 9 for the pre-equalization of the transmission signal to be transmitted to the station side, a pilot detection circuit 6 receiving the reception signal and detecting the pilot signal, and a control signal generating circuit 7 receiving the output and generating the control signal are provided. The automatic equalizer 8 is controlled by using the control signal and the automatic pre-equalizer 9 is controlled by using the control signal, allowing to equalize the transmission signal in advance in response to the length of line at the transmission side. Thus, the reception signal level at the station side is uniformed independently of the distance between the station and the subscriber. |
